Get the Inside Story on The War in Ireland
As we progress through our tours, we explain and educate participants in the real happenings and the reasons behind the events and catastrophies over the last 40 years. We will help you understand how this area of Ireland was the most difficult for the Army to control and you will learn why it was such a thorn in the British side.
Together we will visit the battlegrounds and recount the tragedies and tribulations which have shaped Ireland’s history.

Meet the Manager
Tours are managed by Jimmy Fox, himself an exprisoner. Jimmy’s passion for what he does is evident from the moment you meet him and don’t be surprised if you end up in a three hour long political discussion from a simple enquiry for directions to the kitchen!
Fantastic Accomodation Available Onsite
Fantastic overnight accomodation is available onsite within our premises for our multi-day tours, through our neighbouring organisation Tí Chulainn Cultural Centre.
Hotel-standard accomodation is on offer at hostel prices with 15 twin/double/triple en-suite rooms for up to 45 guests. Visitors can avail of the catering service or opt for self catering depending on their requirements.
