Ti Chulainn

Nestled at the foot of Sliabh Gullion, in the heart of South Armagh, the Ti Chulainn Centre in An Mullach Bán is the starting point for our tours. The centre specialises in organising cultural events and activities which enable visitors to experience the rich heritage of the region.

Tí Chulainn has the Cuimhneamh Living History Project which has recorded memories of the conflict from across South Armagh, North Louth and South Monaghan. There is also a reference library which is an excellent resource for historians and genealogists.

The centre has excellent post-tour facilities, which include an audio visual theatre, conference rooms and workshop areas. The Tí Chulainn guest accommodation has been awarded the NITB 4 star grade.

Coiste na nIarchimí

Coiste Na N-Iarchimi is the umbrella organisation of the former Republican political prisoner network throughout Ireland. Coiste Na N-Iarchimi have 12 formal groups based in various parts of the country, and a number of informal groups associated with them. The Coiste network employs 65 full-time workers and numerous volunteers. Coiste is funded through the European Peace fund, set up to address the legacy of the conflict here in Ireland.

Coistes' main areas of work include, conflict resolution, legacy, advocacy,youth, political tourism,support services and education, consortium (Former political activists)inter-community and inter-national engagements.

Main partners in this project are Community Foundation Northern Ireland. Coiste also interact and engage with other governmental, statutory, and community organisations accross the island of Ireland.

Free Derry Tours

The Bogside has been described as the "Crucible Of The Troubles" and is world famous for events including the outbreak of the Troubles in 1968, the battle of the Bogside and most notably Bloody Sunday in 1972.
